Motorsport Framing
We can of course carry out standard framing but our speciality is custom designed creative pieces for home, office or hospitality. Many features can be included, sponsor or racing colours, badges, race numbers, clothing, race suits, logos and components to make an eye catching focal point. Our carbon fibre frames and mounts are shown on a seperate page.
Below are just a few examples of our framing from individual prints and photos to race and championship winning compilations.
Before getting into picture framing David, our senior frame designer, worked in racing including Formula Ford, Clubmans, Historic and the World Endurance Championship.

You can do a conventional mount, although it does have four layers, as on the left. Then you can add a few specially carved pieces with details from the race and quotes from the movie. Making a very special personal memento of a very special race.

 Nigel Mansell British Grand PrixThe Union Jack mount was doubly appropriate as the signed limited edition shows Nigel Mansell at the British Grand Prix, Silverstone. We have also used this design on a London Marathon piece and several military framing jobs. |  Red Bull DTM AudiCarbon fibre photo mount with carbon fibre Red Bull logo. Originally we had done the logo in the usual red and yellow but it was too strong and detracted from the photo, so we cut it in carbon fibre playing with the grain pattern. |  Carbon Fibre FrameDTM Audi A4 in double mount, with rounded corners and recessed Audi badge into the top mount. My favourite framing feature however is the carbon fibre effect frame, looks just like the real thing only costs a lot less. |
 Gulf Racing GT40 Le Mans 1969A Nicholas Watts limited edition print with triple mount based on the Gulf colours. Here a subtle framing style was required so we used very narrow bands of blue and omitted the orange from the mount, the wood tone of the frame however was matched to work with the orange on the car. |  DTM Mercedes-BenzOur Mercedes mount with three pointed star logo carved into the mount. Mercedes Benz is also debossed along the bottom of the mount in large letters but doesn't show very well in the photo. |  Mallock U2 Cadwell ParkAmerican racer Bob Crozier at Cadwell Park. The triple mount echos the colours of the car, blue and orange, in the left corner is a raised outline of the circuit carved in mount board and car badge on the right. In the centre is a raised text box with a repeat of the cars colours in hairlines in the middle of the bevel. A further outer double mount with decorative corners completes the design. |
 F1 Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen 2007This mount was created using the pen tool function on our Gunnar computerised mount cutter. The frame is another version of our carbon fibre style mouldings. |  Kiyonari Superbike Champion 2010A celebration piece of Ryuichi Kiyonari's BSB Championship win on his HM Plant Honda. Brands Hatch 2010.
